As a result, we are now a well-established business providing services to private cars and small businesses.

Our Family Run Business

My Grandfather Douglas Pirie started in 1920, and his son, my father, came into the business in 1940. As the company grew, the garage doubled in size in the late 40,s. Astbury Garage Services was a petrol filling station for many years until 2000 when the supermarkets took over. So I grew up in the business from a very young age and finally came to work full time in the 80s, slowly modernising and adding new services.

We now have some of the latest equipment on the market in diagnostic and air conditioning and access to the latest software and information for most vehicles.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our range of services to include an MOT Test Centre and Car Sales. We buy and sell cars nationwide for customers, sourcing the vehicles and checking them thoroughly, too, so we’re confident in putting our name and reputation behind this service.
